The Killamarsh and Renishaw HS2 Action Group held a public meeting at Netherthorpe School, in Staveley, recently with representatives from HS2 Ltd and the Department for Transport.
The meeting was well attended and gave local residents the chance to ask questions and raise concerns about how HS2 will affect them.
I know that not everyone got a chance to ask the questions they wanted and I hope that we can work with HS2 to arrange for them to attend more meetings in the future.
The group’s next meetings will take place at Killamarsh Leisure Centre at 7pm on 25 February, 31 March, 28 April, 26 May and 30 June. Everyone is welcome.
